orn in Seoul, South Korea, Yong Pak immigrated with his family to Halifax, Nova Scotia and later moved to Miami, Florida. He majored in architecture at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Yong Pak developed his passion for classical architecture while studying in Vicenza, Italy during an exchange program.

Upon graduating in 1986 Pak relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he joined the distinguished firm of Norman Askins and cultivated his knowledge of classical residential design. For six years he significantly contributed towards the company’s growths as the firm’s Vice President.

In 1997 Pak founded Yong Pak & Associates. He was named on of the top “Four under Forty” architects in the Southeast by the Southern Accents Magazine. In 2003 Charles Heydt became a partner and the firm was renamed Pak Heydt & Associates. The team designs unique traditional and classical residences of exceptional quality and distinction.
