T his hilltop Georgian house is the result of a competition sponsored by the client. The refined, symmetrical front façade is embellished with a careful attention to detail, including handmade wood-mold brick coursed in Flemish bound and a hand carved limestone entry in the baroque manner.
Rooms radiate off a central, two-story domed rotunda, naturally illuminated by a skylight. The drawing room aligns with the central axis established on the front façade and overlooks the garden terrace. Refined style and proportions is evident in the elegant mahogany paneled library, the hand-tooled curving staircase and the delicately carved moldings found throughout the house.
